Pixel Beans Coffee began as a family project and an opportunity to share our passions of coffee, gaming and adventure.
Our Story
The Pixel Beans story began in 2019, when founders Steve Ranahan and Chris Hansen had the wild idea to roast their own coffee beans. As avid coffee drinkers, they spend most Saturday mornings enjoying an espresso in many of Melbourne’s best cafes. Steve and Chris decided to create a business out of their passion for coffee and the Pixel Bean Coffee brand was born.
Not only did they want to create an exceptional product, they wanted to provide a fun and unique brand experience to their customers and bring people together to enjoy their favourite drink.
Food loving chef Steve and his gaming enthusiast son-in law Chris decided to fuse their passion for coffee and Chris’ love of video games to create outstanding coffee beans with a difference. Pixel Beans Coffee has since grown to become an iconic brand who are serious about roasting and supplying premium beans to passionate coffee drinkers.
Steve, Chris and their team work hard to provide Pixel Beans Coffee customers with an exceptional product and outstanding customer service as well as a sense of fun and adventure.
